Young folx might be the target, perpetrator, or bystander in an act of injustice. Acts of injustice occur across social media, within social connections, or through social desirability. Empowering youth to address injustice, including prejudice, discrimination, and bias are useful and crucial skills for anyone working with young folx. This session will address civic engagement, social activism, and support for youth as a mentor, educator, teacher, or leader. It offers those working with youth tools to empower youth to address injustice on a micro, meso, or macro level.
