Join us for this powerful training that will look at how our unconscious thoughts and behaviors play a role in various arenas such as child welfare, education, employment, healthcare, and the criminal justice system. Implicit bias, which refers to our attitudes or stereotypes that impact our understanding, actions, and decisions in an unconscious manner will be the primary focus of this training. Participants will walk away learning about the role implicit biases have in negatively affecting the community we serve and find techniques to help recognize and unlearn these unconscious biases to create a healthier community.
