Discussing race and racism is challenging! White fragility makes it even more difficult because it requires White people to examine their own discomfort with discussing race and racism. Participants will learn about White fragility, its impact and how it undermines the ability of White people to engage in constructive dialogue with non-whites about race, oppression and systemic racism. Additionally, participants will explore the concept of White privilege and gain a better understanding of how they use their "privilege" as a powerful tool to dismantle racism and bigotry.
