Who can attend trainings sponsored by the Children's Services Council (CSC)?
We welcome professionals and para professionals who provide services to children and families in Broward County. Students and interns are also welcome to attend based on space availability. For further questions please contact the training team at trainingSupport@cscbroward.org.
What is CSC's payment policy?
CSC requires payment 10 business days prior to the training date to hold a participant's seat. If payment can't be made on time or registration occurs within 5 business days of the training, an email must be sent to CSC regarding its delay and when payment will be received. Emails can be sent to trainingsupport@cscbroward.org. Please note that registrations are subject to cancellation for non-payment.
How do I register as an Agency Administrator?
If you are responsible for registering and tracking staff's training activities, you can become an Agency Administrator on the site. To start, request an Agency Administrator status by contacting the CSC's Training Department at trainingsupport@cscbroward.org. Be sure to put Administrator Request in the Subject line along with your full name and agency name in the body of the email.
Does CSC accept credit cards?
Yes. Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express are accepted on our secure site. Please note that our cancellation policy remains the same with credit card transactions.
I have already registered for training. How do I pay using my credit card?
After signing on, go to My Registrations. There you will find a Pay Now botton which will take you to a secure page to make a credit card payment.
What is CSC's cancellation policy?
Cancellations made at least 5 business days prior to training will receive full credit towards another CSC sponsored training on or before September 30 of the current year. There will be no refunds. If an agency is being invoiced to hold registrations and then cancels less than 5 business days from the training date, payment will still be required.
What is the Late and No Show Policy?
The CSC is respectful of both the trainers' and participants' schedule; therefore, we strive to start each session in a timely manner. Arrivals more than 15 minutes from the start of the session will not be allowed to participate in the training. Participants who have been invoiced will still be required to pay.
How do I access my training certificate(s)?
After signing on, go to My Registrations. There you will find all certificates for trainings you have attended after October 1, 2015.
Are CEUs available?
Yes. We are a provider in the state of Florida for LCSW, LMHC, and LMFT license holders. Our provider number is BAP #830.
Can CSC hold a training at my organization?
The CSC can accomodate an organization's request for training. A minimum of 15 and a maximum of 30 staff will be considered for a session at an alternate location Trainer's availability and other factors will also be taken into consideration. To inquire about a specific training contact the CSC Training Team - trainingsupport@cscbroward.org.
