Defining diversity and inclusiveness in the context of our continuously evolving cultural landscape is a challenge for individuals as we seek to create safe and affirming communities. It becomes even more daunting to advance our Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) efforts when we are not equipped with a shared language to talk about the more difficult topics, or we’re afraid of saying the “wrong thing.” This session is intended to give you an overview of the essential considerations of DEIB. You will walk away feeling more comfortable engaging in uncomfortable conversations.
