The purpose of this training is to delve into the barriers to healthcare that impact individuals as well as explore social determinants of health.

This in-person training will explore the complex interplay between social determinants and behavioral health, focusing on the barriers that prevent individuals from accessing and receiving adequate healthcare.

Participants will gain a deeper understanding of how these social determinants impact an individual's mental health and well-being. The training will cover the role of systemic inequalities, stigma, and discrimination that exacerbate these barriers, particularly for marginalized communities.

By the end of the training, participants will have a comprehensive understanding of the social determinants of health and behavioral health, including the tools and resources available to address barriers in our communities and organizations.
