This online training will provide the local and national history of inequity and resistance in Broward County to identify the origins and ongoing evolution of cultural disparities in employment, education, health, economics, criminal justice, etc. Participants will explore the body of research on biases in employment, education, health, and criminal justice systems including where it appears in the system, how it works, biases in decision making and strategies and solutions to improve outcomes. Lastly, we will explore the components and values of inclusive environments to create empowerment and systemic change.

This training will be on Zoom. A link will be provided one week before the training and a second registration is required.
