Managers, Supervisors, Leaders serving children and families in Broward County
Children's Services Council of Broward County
Some problems can be successfully solved; others cannot. No matter how many times we try a resolution, these problems just won’t go away. But, these conflicts can be managed. The first step is to distinguish between the two. Once we recognize whether we are confronted with a problem to be solved or conflict to be managed, then we can select the best tool. Participants will briefly survey various problem resolution tools before learning a tool for managing seemingly unresolvable problems using the Polarity Management Map.

Note: Participants are encouraged to bring with them a short list of the most challenging problems they are currently facing in their agency.
