This interactive workshop will build confidence for leaders who are guiding groups of middle and high school youth. Skills for creating openness, trust, and belonging will assist in setting up the group for greater cooperation and unity. Skills for identifying and handling interruptive behaviors – such as power struggles, attention seeking, and withdrawing – will benefit the leader in redirecting the group for greater collegiality. This workshop will assist the participants in moving comfortably into group leadership.
