In this in person training, participants will learn about the amazing changes that happen in the brain during adolescents. The focus will be movement from the dreading to celebrating adolescents. Specifically, attendees will learn why adolescence is not just puberty, gain a deep understanding of concept of the “ESSENCE of Adolescents” by Dr. Daniel Siegel. This training will also focus on the changes that are happening, understanding of chaos and integration, things that can be done to support the brain changes and behaviors, relationships, caregivers own attachment and response to youth, and impact of adversity on the spark of brain change during adolescents. Strategies will be presented to help support all who work with adolescents whether personally or professionally. Together all can learn how to help guide what is wired together in adolescents! CEU's will be offered.
