The purpose of this training is to discuss the importance of suicide prevention in our community. It will explore the risk factors of suicide as well as protective factors. This workshop will address the strategies for suicide prevention and highlight how to identify signs of suicidal behaviors while building awareness of the key issues related to it. It will also focus on cultural considerations as it relates to risk and protective factors as it relates to the BIPOC communities.

This training will be held in person at CSC and Aisha McDonald will be the facilitator.
