Mid- to Senior-Level Leaders, Executives, High-Pressure Roles

African American Research Library & Cultural Center

Please Note: This is an off-site in-person training for FLITE Leaders ONLY.

Leadership does not protect people from setbacks. In fact, the higher the responsibility, the more visible the mistakes, criticism, disappointments, and difficult transitions can feel. Whether the setback is personal, professional, or organizational, many leaders struggle to recover without second-guessing themselves or carrying shame longer than necessary.

This interactive workshop offers a thoughtful and practical space for leaders to reflect on setbacks, examine the stories they are telling themselves, and identify what it takes to move forward with honesty, resilience, and self-trust. Participants will explore the emotional impact of failure and disappointment, learn how to respond to setbacks without becoming defined by them, and develop a personal reset strategy they can use to regain focus, confidence, and momentum.
