This in-person training is designed to assist nonprofit organizations with building an inclusive board of directors as well as employing inclusivity within governance practices and the strategic planning process.

Inclusivity is often achievable when it starts at the governance level. This training session will focus on inclusive board membership, governance practices, and organizational strategic planning. It will present strategies to build a diversified board of directors and engage participants in action planning to recruit diverse board members, employ inclusive board governance, and develop an inclusive strategic plan. This session will be presented in a pragmatic manner to yield practical knowledge and application for attendees as well as transfer of gained knowledge to practice.
