This is an in person training. Attendees will gain an in depth understanding of the four domains of stress and impact of stress in the culture. The session will then move to a deeper understanding of how to not only recover from adversity but to build resilience for the future which can release a person from their connection to past emotional drains and increase performance and relationships. In order to build resilience, attendees will learn about what depletes internal energy and how to build it for the future. Participants will then learn about the heart brain connection through the lens of HeartMath®. There will be an introduction to heart focused breathing, heart rate variability and coherence. In this introduction session, attendees will learn at least one technique that can be done quickly and in the presence of others. This learning has been described as the next step after mindfulness. The link will be sent out a few days prior to the start of the training. CSC will be providing CEU's for LCSW, LMHCs and LMFT's. Our tracking number is #50-4168 and expires 3/31/25.
