The purpose of this training is to provide participants with a holistic framework for understanding family and community engagement. The purpose is to also offer effective strategies in engaging families and communities in youth programming. In this session, participants will engage in a range of interactive activities designed to increase their knowledge of effective approaches to engaging families and communities in youth programming initiatives. Participants will leave with a framework for identifying, describing, and demonstrating effective family and community engagement activities in youth programming work.
